Blankenship calls for fundamental changes in W.Va. politics
http://www.dailymail.com/news/News/2005080323/

Massey Energy chief Don Blankenship told a group of prominent business officials this week that the leadership should change for the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Coal Association and the political arm of the West Virginia Medical Association.

"They don't have a plan to fundamentally improve West Virginia," Blankenship said afterward. "They only look for small improvements and fail to be bold enough to change the state's direction. Their biggest objective is to have political access to politicians."

Blankenship's speech also backed eliminating the food tax, giving teachers a raise, reducing the number of school boards to 34 and ditching the Budget Digest system.

looks like Mr. Blankenship is getting ready to buy a few more political offices in the state

3. I call for Blankenship to shut up
He's not even a real West Virginian. He was born in Virginia, and I think that's where he voted during the last election. I've read he has a residence in Mingo county. Wonder if he has any residences in other states.
