WV Group organizes campaign to garner support for Roberts

A local organization is hoping nominee John Roberts will fill the vacant seat in the U.S Supreme Court and is looking toward fellow West Virginians for help.

Charleston attorney Robert Ryan is the co-chairman of West Virginians for Judge Roberts, an ad-hoc coalition wanting Roberts to get a fair and timely vote on his U.S Supreme Court nomination.

The budget comes from independent contributions from national advocacy group, Progress for America. The group is a nonprofit organization that promotes conservative public policies and issues. Progress for America is sponsoring groups promoting Roberts in more than 20 states.
