Anyone planning to partake in Augusta this summer?
http://www.augustaheritage.com/

Being from Elkins (now in Morganhole), I gotta represent for the ol' hometown. 5 glorious weeks of "Pickin' in the Park", concerts and late-night, beer-drinking jamming at the Ice House. I like Irish week the best, but its so hard to pick a favorite.

If you like, or play traditional or heritage music, like to clog or jig, get yerself to Elkins this July.

1. what.....
you aren't worn out from the international ramp festival?

hehehe....

augusta? probably not..... i went once when i was younger. will probably be up there at the time though. have grandparents there, but will probably be fishing or explorin' in the mountains or somesuch instead. but i might head downtown and check it out, just to get my grandma some activity for awhile.

the forrest festival is more my thing. that's when all the family gets together every year.

never been to the ice house, i don't think, but love the 1863 tavern if i've gotta go somewhere in elkins.

2. I was at Irish Week
in '99. LOVED IT!!! I try to go back each year for the tuesday/thursday concerts, but didn't make it last year. I would love to go for IW again, but this year I can't.

I have a hell of a Karaoke/DJ rig too! I ran karaoke shows in bars for a looooong time! My liver just said no so I had to lighten up! Too many free lemon drops bout kicked my donkey! I have 6,000 karaoke tunes and a killer sound system, lights, the works! If we win in November we should have a victory bash!

7. We're the let's party party anyhoo!
We will be dancin' in the streets, when we're liberated in November! Maybe that was what Bush saw in his vision from Gawd and mistook it for Iraq! He kind of has a bad habit of seeing things wrong!
