I loved his book and the movie they made from of it!('A Bridge Too Far') Ken Hechler is a WW II veteran and is always in the vet's corner! He marched with Granny D and that's good enough for me! I've met and talked with Mr. Hechler and I like him! He can eat more fried chicken and roasting ears than Bob Wise and that's saying a lot!

i just think SOS is an awlfully big leap for someone w/ no political experience. maybe she should have tried for the legislature first

I talked to her at one of those bean dinner thingies. She and her husband had to quit their news jobs for the campaign. She lost her insurance and had some good things to say about how she would improve that situation for everyone in the state. My family and I were very impressed with her. I think the only thing you could say negative would be her lack of experience.
I love Hechler too, so I'm not positive about who I will go with yet.
