Fighting Back

Guess Casey has forgotten that Supreme Court race.

The Chairman of the State Democratic Party says Massey CEO Don Blankenship cannot buy an election in West Virginia.

"The Legislature belongs to the people of West Virginia and that's the message," says Nick Casey who will join others on a five-city road trip Thursday, calling for voters to ignore Blankenship's targeted campaigning in the upcoming General Election.

Blankenship told MetroNews Talkline Host Hoppy Kercheval, last week, that he plans to spend at least $3 million to $4 million before the November election

1. Yes
I hope Nick Casey hasn't forgotten the seat on the Supreme Court that Blankenship bought.

2. I really wish
someone could've convinced Tony Arbaugh to sue that sleazebag Blankenship for a few million bucks. He could've won.

Isn't it interesting that Nick Casey had to be the one out making the statement? Where was Governor Joe? Yachting, perhaps? Out looking for another reason not to support wind energy in West Virginia?

West Virginia deserves an answer.

3. Not yachting,
redecorating, buying marble tubs, expensive shower heads, gaming tables.

As for Tony Arbaugh, I'm ashamed to say, until Nyden's article came out I never gave a thought to how all that crap was affecting him. Matter of fact didn't hear anyone besides Nyden say anything about him.

4. I did
I pointed out the fact that Tony Arbaugh had been victimized himself, that the "crimes" of which Blankenstein & Co. made so much hay were for smoking pot and getting drunk.

But back then, I was only broadcasting from a wee tiny little radio station in Beckley (5th smallest radio market in America, last I checked). We hadn't gone global with "Head-On" yet. www.headonradionetwork.com

Someday, when I get all high-tech, I'll post the audio of the "Rant Against Benjamin."
