She took more from ARMPAC than any other candidate!
http://www.ourfuture.org/issues_and_campaigns/accountablecongress/delay/money9.cfmThe New York Times reported on 7/21/06 that Tom DeLay’s political action committee, Americans for a Republican Majority (ARMPAC), has been fined $115,000 for violations of campaign finance and ethics rules. As part of its settlement with the Federal Election Commission, ARMPAC agreed to cease operations.
Unlike some other Republican members of Congress, Capito resisted pressure to return the illicit funds, but in March this year she finally gave away approximately $41,000 of the $48,500 in contributions from DeLay to the Sago Mine disaster fund saying that she "wanted to clear her name in any allegations associated with the money."
