UPDATE - KC Blog Updates With Information And Possible County Link To Nitro

PWDGroup has received information from a credible WV source that tends to point towards a more sinister possibility that there is a link between THF, Nitro's Casino and the Kanawha County Commission.

Its not a conspiracy theory, its Metro Government.

Leaving a question to be answered.

Is Nitro being set up for a pre-dawn ambush from the county? And have all of the rumors and media involvement thrown gas on the fire?

Is it possible the players in the Nitro saga have been recruited for that specific purpose?
Perhaps the Fritz woman and her fellows were enlisted to "create" a problem.
It seems that is what they have done, now that the news is revealing more and more that her claims are meritless.
The local paper is full of Nitro today, red flags are flying everywhere about this woman and her helpers. People have to be asking questions at this point. Her credibility has been destroyed. Talk around town is that she did all this on purpose, but no one can figure out why.

Do you really think you are telling anyone anything they didn't know. Kanawha County Commission President Kent Carper has his hands all over this.

Using Karen Fritz, Mike Clifford and people shouldn't forget Wanda Carney. They all love to see their names in the paper and face on the news. They have no sense of descency. They don't care what kind of lies they have to tell. Or how they have to twist the truth.

What is important to note NOT CLIFFORD but Carney and Frtz do it while purporting to be CHRISTIANS. I don't know what church they attend but the need to go more often. Maybe even stay after and speak to a priest or reverend.

The so called "FINANCIAL CRISIS" was manufactured to damage the cities credibility. Because now not even 12 weeks later - no crisis.

Kent Carer knew it was nothing more than a shot term cash flow problem back in later October early November 2007. He allowed and played a major part in the media circus that followed.

The city of Charlestons population continues to decline. Once it drops below 50,000 NO MORE FEDERAL MONIES. I think many in the City of Charleston and the County are more than a little nervous about this. Because after all the city will be looking to the County for aid.

Kent Carper has more dirty laudry than anyone in local politics - perhaps it is time to air some of it for the PEOPLE OF KANAWHA COUNTY.

It is all relevant. Carper and his relationhip with Jones.

Nitro is pivatable. City of Charleston population dropping. will have to annex to keep federal funds. where are they going to go. The track and the marketplace sitting in Nitro.

You see conspiracy theories everywhere Jerry, why can't you see what is clearly in front of you. Your friend and former co-host either willingly or unwillingly is playing a role in it all.

I agree with you wvwildfire, I have felt that there is something more (POLITICAL) behind the media blitz that has hit Nitro.

I don't think it is just the activist in your midst. I am fascinated with what is going on in Nitro and have made it a point to find out as much as I can. I must say the more I uncover the more interested I become.

I think this activist, is being used, I haven't figured out if by MC or WC at the behest of KCC President KC. But I am looking into this possible connection.

Kind of ironic, you ragged on me cause I spelled someones name wrong last week!!!!

The former Mayor was Mike Roark... Not York.

And, the reason Danny stayed out of trouble had nothing to do with Carper or any of the others.

He cut a deal with the feds to avoid prosecution.......

Yes, he avoided prosecution. I did comment on your having Danny Atkins name wrong - you claimed to have done a month long investigation and was commenting on he fact that Kent Carper called him Danny.

I never did any long investigation - just remember the news at the time.
