70th Annual UMWA Labor Day Rally in Racine, WV
We had a great time again this year at the Labor Day rally in Racine.

I got to meed Anne Barth, Democratic candidate for Congress in WV-02. She is a very classy lady. It was pretty hot but she was right out there with the rest of us when she could have retreated to the air conditioned green room like some of the other candidates. Eat your heart out, Hubert Flottz:

I can't vote for Anne because I don't live in the 2nd district but I'm gonna send a little cash her way. Anne Barth for Congress

Governor Manchin rode his manly bike (license plate G-1) in from Charleston. Have a look:

And here's what got me there and back:

Here is a news article about the event:

Rockefeller targets McCain at Labor Day rally

RACINE — Harsh words from U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller about Republican colleague John McCain helped mark the traditional start of West Virginia’s fall election season Monday.

The Democrat invoked the GOP presidential nominee's votes on veterans benefits, children’s health insurance and clean coal technology at the 70th annual Boone County rally sponsored by the United Mine Workers Union.

“You have to understand John McCain and how bad he would be for West Virginia,” Rockefeller said. “He’s a terrible person to have as president.”

To repeated applause, Rockefeller also cited McCain’s oft-reported temper while urging the Labor Day crowd to help defeat him in November.

“He’s a bully. He treats people terribly,” Rockefeller said.

Ann is such a pretty lady and very bright. I think she could help lift WV up out of the rut Shelly has helped Bush put us in, every lock step of the way, since she went to Washington.

And what's up with Jay? Railing against McBully like he had a pair? I guess all that "My Good Friend" shit in congress is wearing kind of thin. It's about time our guys realized that every day working Americans don't have any "Good Friends" on the GOP side of Washington.

Thanks for the pictures. Great looking bikes too! Can you pull a boat to Summersville for $5.00 with that?

EDIT...Jesco would have made McSame a better VP "Prick" than that beauty queen.
