What Former Taxpayer Advocate is Back Looking for a Payday?

What former taxpayer advocate is back looking for a BIG payday? Well Wanda Carney of course.

It will come as no surprise to anyone who knows the real Wanda Carney but she is looking for a Million Dollar payday from former Nitro City Councilman Bill Clark.

I was so disgusted when I heard this today I felt I had to get this out. I hear she is looking for a jury trial. I wish I could be on that jury. I would love the opportunity to tell her to get a life and get a job.

I just hope that this doesn't refuel the Media Circus that was Nitro for more than 4 years.

It is important to note that if not for Wanda Carney and her relationship with the former Nitro City Recorder Joan McClanahan and Former City Councilwoman Gertie Estep - Nitro never would have made the news in the manner in which it did. The lies started with Wanda Carney and the two former city officials.

Wanda Carney lied about the situation in the City of Nitro and even with all the focus on the city - not one of the allegations leveled by Mrs. Carney and WV Wants to Know and by Nitro resident activist Karen Fritz was proven to be true. What do Mrs. Carney and Karen Fritz have in common - one man Mike Clifford (Former Disgraced Kanawha County Prosecutor).

They have thrown out allegations of criminal activity by Administrative Personnel in Nitro with nothing but their words to back it up.

I for one have a strong belief that what has happened in Nitro is a small microcosm of what is wrong with politics in this country and turn most average people off. That is individuals who are willing to do anything say anything to take control. And if they got in would they be any different than those in office.

I say No.

And supposed WATCHDOGS will do anything and say anything even if it is a lie to get their name in the paper and their face on the news.

And I believe the following statement says it all about local politics... Local Politics is a Dog eat Dog world because the stakes are so low.

So, will this former Taxpayer Advocate continue with this lawsuit against a former councilman when it comes down to tax dollars footing the bill? or will she put her supposed values on the line and drop the suit as it is in the best interest of the taxpayers.

If Wanda Carney was truly wronged in Nitro, anyone who knows her knows that she would have been on the radio and every media outlet talking about it. This woman is looking for a payday since her failed non profit organization is no longer viewed as something positive.
