DUers! Lets draft Senator Robert Byrd to contest the election!

Robert Byrd may be the only senator who doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks of him. I mean really, what other senator is in that position, and who can afford to be that outspoken? And has already been that outspoken?

Email is low effort, perhaps we need Washington DC DUers or West Virginia DUers to conduct a vigil in front of his senate office or home, for Byrd to be the savior.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 29, representatives from several citizens' groups, including WV-CAG, will meet with Senator Byrd's staff. Our purpose is to ask the Senator to challenge the electoral college certification that is scheduled to take place on January 6th. All it takes is one Senator and one Representative to challenge the certification. Senator Byrd's number is 202-224-3954. He can also be reached toll free by calling 1-800-839-5276.

The woman to whom I spoke took my name, address, and phone number and said she would pass it on to the senator. She said that it would mean more if they heard more from West Virginians. I told her I think a lot of us in West Virginia have not heard about what's going on because of lack of MSM coverage. She did say they had heard from a number of people outside of WV.

She did not know if he would in fact contest.

i got a call back today telling me that he "couldn't accomodate my request for tickets to the inaugural." WTF?!? what are these staffers being paid for?
