Ex-Gov. Moore seeks $1 million

Former Gov. Arch Moore’s lawyer told the state Supreme Court on Wednesday that the state’s former insurance company should reimburse Moore for $1 million in legal costs he paid when the state sued him in 1990.

That lawsuit, filed in federal court by then-Attorney General Roger Tompkins, alleged that Moore unjustly profited from his 1985-89 term as governor. It sought to recover Moore’s salary, as well as a refund check from the state’s Workers’ Compensation black lung fund that was connected to a bribe Moore received.

he and his daughter look eerily similar.

4. I can remember being a kid and all this crap

with Moore came down around the same couple of years as Watergate, and thinking this is WV'S Nixon. I can't believe this guy has managed to rehabilitate himself. Capideau (spelling?) needs to go.
