What's with the giant condom on the WV capital dome?

I drove over to fly out of Yeager airport in Charleston today and I had to do a double take when I saw that giant condom covering the golden dome. I wish I had my digital camera and I would have posted a picture. That has to be the funniest thing I have seen in a while.

When the University of Connecticut built a new arena for basketball, one of the names jokingly floated around was the ConnDome. Imagine having Dick Vitale in the ConnDome.

I'd been wondering the same danged thing for weeks! Here were some of my best guesses!

It's a large symbol of the BIG porking, that we the people are a-fixin' to get for the next four years!

It takes an enormous sized con-dome to cover all those GOPer and semi-GOPer cons, x-cons, neo-cons and pricks running around loose in that place!

I think Bush brought that thang in from Texass on his last trip down here! They sure do grow pricks and everything big down there! The biggest assholes in the country also come from Texass that's a proven and re-proven factoid!

It's really a really huge Ace bandage! The reason our capitol building needed a really huge Ace bandage, is because one dark winter night, Don Blankenship CEO of AT Massey Coal Company, tried to remove the top of our capitol with that really huge drag bucket that AT Massey uses to totally wreck all our mountain tops! Seems that Donnie B. heard there was a big seam of stoker coal under that dome and he and AEP just had to have it!

Maybe some Really Huge Ace bandages will soon start to appear on all those bleak looking mountain tops that AT Massy leaves behind everywhere they strip mine coal here in Almost Heaven!
