I am very angry that your news writers or readers (what you call anchors) can't get a story correct.
Andy Treinen said this morning at about 6:42 during a story about Cindy Sheenan (I have DVR so I was able to replay it over to make sure I heard it correctly) that "some military families are expressing their outrage at Cindy Sheenan's protest" while showing the sign of the organization Military Families Speak Out.
I was able to SIMPLY find the accurate information about this organization in less than a minute by doing a net search. This is directly from their web site:
http://www.mfso.org/ Military Families Speak Out is an organization of people who are opposed to war in Iraq and who have relatives or loved ones in the military. We were formed in November of 2002 and have contacts with military families throughout the United States, and in other countries around the world. Our membership currently includes over 2,000 military families, with new families joining daily.
Any reasonably informed person could figure out that they were not showing their outrage toward Cindy - they were there supporting her!
Channel 4, Andy Treinen and your writers or whoever wrote those words owe this organization an apology and correction on air!
You can read what they said .. if you want to contact them I used this email address for news contact:
