This group has their heart in the right place....I've got a phone number if anybody want to volunteer.

Last year, Marshfield-area volunteers took four trips to help the victims of hurricanes in Florida.
Now, just three days after Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, Tom Shilts of Marshfield is planning a team to head down to Biloxi, Miss., for at least a week of cleanup work.

He is expecting six to 10 people from the area will travel with him, but doesn't know yet what their assignment will be. Shilts is working through Service International, a volunteer disaster agency affiliated with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

"They are arranging the details of where we are supposed to go," Shilts said. "Everybody has a certain focus when they go down. We have to interface with emergency services, otherwise we can't get in."
The team from Marshfield will go down in a motor home and meet up with other Service International teams from throughout the country.
