Who else was hit hard by yesterday's storms?
Power at my house has been out since 6:30 yesterday afternoon, WE energies says it could be up to 3 DAYS!!!

And I lost a big hunk of a tree, too... my whole neighborhood is a total mess! Thankfully... no one is hurt and no major damage, just messy.

Everyone else OK?

Went for a run after the storm and noticed traffic on X heading south out of town was backed up along with the continous wail of sirens.

6. I have no idea.
I drove though some nasty wind early yesterday evening. Had to struggle to stay on the road between Waupun and Juneau. (I'm at my parent's place in Whitewater - I hope my kitties are OK at home!)

What really struck me, besides the darkness that forced me to turn on the lights at 4:30, was the clouds racing across the sky. It looked like a fast-motion camera. I began looking for the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. :scared:

Thank FSM, because we just got done vacuum packing tons of vegetables, berries, and fruits to freeze for the winter.

10. Our screen gazebo on our deck (3 months old)
it a twisted pile of canvass/cheap metal!

And we lost the top (entire foliage) on our cute little tree (an arborist said we should cut down cause people who planted it hacked it, but it was still growing and cute), so now it will have to go.

11. We lost a huge limb, which we didn't have many of
It's going to cost $200 to remove it, too. Crap! Anyone know a cheap tree service in the Fox Valley (Oshkosh)?

16. It was 1:30 and I was sleeping (alarm goes of at 4:30).... my 14 y/o
woke me "MOM! MOM! THE POWER'S BACK ON! THE POWER'S BACK ON!"

I simply groaned and continued sleeping. I hugged my coffee-maker first, the TV a few hours later.
