Slinker vs. Jeskewitz

Here in Washington County, we saw wingnut Glenn Grothman defeat the moderate Mary Panzer for state senate. Now I see the same thing is brewing in Waukesha County, where moderate Republican Jeskewitz is being challenged by the aptly named Chris Slinker.

Since leaving UWM (his bio doesn't say he graduated), he's immersed himself in (GOP) politics. Worked for Kasten; worked for Darling; worked for Sensenbrenner. As a Menomonee Falls trustee, he jumped aboard the Jefferson Davis bandwagon when that nitwit was the darling of the right wing and the talk show hosts. In short, he's a classic career politician without real world experience or marketable skills, a party hack.

Okay, sorry for the rant but this is so disgusting.

1. You know what's discouraging?

We have sooooooo many battles to fight on so many fronts...

Obviously we have to fight this one, but we also need to:

Replace Mark Green with a good Dem/Progressive
Keep the Repubs from beating Gov Doyle
Beat John Gard
Beat Scott Suder
Beat Dave Zein
Hold onto every single Assembly and Senate seat held by a Dem (unless they are 100% DINO)
Defeat Sensenbrenner

So much work to do....sometimes I'm overwhelmed by the amount we have to do....

Those of us here in Waukesha County have an exec race in a couple of months. Pro-TABOR Vrakas against moderate/(Dem ?) Dwyer.

Don't know how this one is shaping up but could it be a reverse Milwaukee/S. Walker?
