DU mention in the Milw Journal Sentinel

did anyone read thearticle about an MPS School of the Arts teacher? It starts front page below the fold and continues on the back page. About 2/3 of the way down in the last column there is a DU mention. heh heh. Did I mention daughter #1 is one of his students?

btw, he really is a fine teacher and very inspiring.

I posted this earlier in the week and watched grow moss....maybe with a new subject line I'll get your attention.

Students say Rodahl does not try to indoctrinate students or alter their thinking. But he does push them to defend their beliefs.

Reinders, a student during the 1996 presidential election, says the cross country team took the "Dole for President" signs out of Rodahl's yard as a prank, replacing them with signs that read: "Clinton for President."

"He had a good sense of humor about it."

On Wednesday, for instance, he just laughed when he found someone had left copies of e-mails from the Democratic Underground on his desk. One read, "Documented Bush Lies."

Students say that his displays of conservatism are genuine but also function as a teaching device. "He's definitely the most conservative person I've had as a teacher," Pfeiffer says.

5.  But on the other hand...
If his political views were reversed (if he was openly liberal in the classroom), the local conservatives would be howling for his resignation or dismissal.

3. attention! you want attention!
what for? you can't eat attention...you can't put it in the bank, or cover up the hole in the fence! you can't invest it, or use it as an anchor while at sea....
i think attention is over rated, as an objective
:) ;) :bounce: :) :) :) :) :) :) ;) ;) and for a change of attentional pace :) ;-) :o :D }( :P :9 :* :hippie:  :toast: and finally }( }( :D :D :wow:  :hangover:

8. Wait, wait - let me get my flow chart.
"Scruffbunny in Stuttgart" sounds either like a kiddie book or a really warped porn movie. :)
