I'm going to walk. I'm going to get my errands done without having to bundle up. I'm going to sweep the bird seed off my deck!

1. Helped the economy

I went shopping and dropped $250 on clothes. I do this about twice a year. I hate shopping so when I go I buy stuff.

2. Went ice fishing this morning. It's warm but awfully windy.

3. Cleaning off my desk

and hoping the roads don't flood around here. I know, I know, that's so glass half full. Like the old saying - a pessimist says it can't get any worse and an optimist says oh, yes it can.

The weathercritters were wrong as usual. Last night they were predicting 51 degrees today and this morning revised it down to 42. With all the water about to wash over the country roads around here, I'm glad it's not 51.
