Training for Listening Sessions
Fight back against the Right Wing's disruption of elected officials' listening sessions on Health Care Reform. Come to a training that will equip you to effectively participate at upcoming Health Care Listening Sessions during the month of August.

Training for Listening Sessions
Saturday, August 15, 1:00 - 3:30 pm
AFSCME Headquarters, 8033 Excelsior Dr. Madison, WI
Please consider attending one of the following listening sessions (others will be announced at a later date):

Congressional District 1-Rep. Paul Ryan
8/26 Listening Session City Hall Council Chambers
Janesville, 3:30-5:00 pm

Congressional District 6 - Tom Petri
8/13 Listening Session Municipal Building
Watertown, 3:30-4:30 pm

1. The training is set up for the 15th, and one of the sessions listed
is on the 13th. May want to move up the training date a bit. Won't do much good for Gwen Moore's session which is 08/11/09 either.

Granted, the training is a good idea, but offering it before the sessions is an even better idea.

I got the email today, from Council 40. Maybe there are other groups doing training around the state too?
