Milwaukee Dems: Sachin for county chair!

 will be electing a new party chair this month, Martha Love is passing the reigns after her many years of devoted service as Chairperson. If you are a member, but your membership has lapsed, or if you'd like to be a member who can vote for party chair, you need to renew by 11:59PM Monday night to be eligible to vote at the next meeting, which is on Monday Nov. 23.

With that done, I ask you, my dear and only friend, to vote for Sachin Chheda. While you can read his thorough http://www.chhedaforchair.org">biography, but I'd rather tell you how I know him and why I support him. I made Sachin's acquaintance shortly after I moved to Milwaukee in 2005, and was struck by his versatile thought and organizational ability. He understands how information moves today, be it through people, online, or on the radio. Sachin also knows how important it is for people to have a personal connection to the politics that influence their lives. He can help translate this into votes for good candidates, and votes for good laws on the local and state levels.

The election for Democratic Party of Milwaukee County Chair will be held at the November 23 meeting. This meeting is on Monday, November 23, at 7 p.m. You must arrive on time for the meeting, and pay your membership dues at least two weeks ahead of time in order to be eligible to vote. 2. The people running with Sachin are also excellent

The candidates running with Sachin for the other positions (vice chair, secretaries, treasurer) are all totally committed Democrats who have worked tirelessly for years and they all deserve our vote of confidence. Dragongentleman and I will be there to support them. This is an important election for the party, which will need strong leadership as we fight against the craziness that is emerging among the right wingers.

6. Sachin is running a smart, active campaign

We've received a couple of phone calls and a letter in the mail from him. He also has a professional-looking website for his campaign: http://chhedaforchair.com/

This election for county officers is crucial and cannot be left to chance, given the fact that he has opposition. I think this aggressive approach to winning his office is a sample of what he plans to do with the party if he becomes chair. Please, if you are a Democratic Party member who lives anywhere in Milwaukee County, come to the Pettit Center by 7 pm tonight to vote for Sachin and his outstanding teammates--help ensure that this exciting new direction for our party will become reality.
