Are You Ready For The Big Storm?
I filled up the truck & car, and got some groceries. I'm gonna make some chicken dumpling soup and deliver it to family members. Want to make it a good deed day. I'll post pics tomorrow.:)

3. what a welcome home surprise!
We were in Los Angeles this morning--had spent a long weekend visiting family in Pasadena (their lemon and orange trees are bearing fruit right now by the way!). Our departure was delayed: the plane was late getting in to LAX because of "a little snow in Milwaukee". Our flight eventually got into MKE at 5 p.m. and we couldn't even see the city until we were about to land, it was that thick with dense clouds. As we drove west toward home the snow got thicker and thicker. Passed a two-car collision moments after it happened and then we slowed way down! Got home safely and are ready to hunker down.

8. We got 12"-14" in Menasha.
Kids were off school and I off work. Just got done snowblowing my driveway and the elderly neighbor's. I'm going to curl up next to the fire for the rest of the day with few beers and some homemade potato soup.
