1. makes me think about where we will retire.

I highly doubt it will be here!

I'm thinking West Coast, where they still have seasons but not such severe ones. Like Portland, Seattle, northern CA, etc. I love looking at snow, but I'd prefer to see it far away on a mountaintop! One of our kids lives on that side of the country, an added argument for the case.
