Boycott Leinenkugel

That's what we're doing across the St. Croix River in Minnesota. We like Russ Feingold. In fact, we're jealous you have him and we don't. We want to keep Russ in the Senate even if he represents Wisconsin and not Minnesota. So we're boycotting Leinenkugel just to make sure we don't provide any undue support for DICK Leinenkugel, one of Russ's Republican challengers.

It's not as if we have to drink that swill anyway with so many other fine beers out there to choose from these days...:toast:

Being a connysewer of shandys before the pre-fab Lienies came out, I was actually enthused to try it. Mistake made, corrective action applied. Back to mixing homemade lemonade with a decent (i.e., not syrupy sweet like Lienies) yellowish-pilsner-style beer. Point Special works well, High Life is good, New-Old Schlitz displays glimmers of adequacy, the Supper Club by Capital is not bad. Honestly, Blatz and Old-n-Stale are both drinkable when cut back with lemonade.
