Wisconsin night on MSNBC's Countdown |
|
Keith Olbermann spent a lot of time on Wisconsin tonight. First was a long segment on Ron Johnson's testimony in the state Senate on behalf of the Green Bay Diocese regarding the bill to give victims of pedophile priests more time to sue. He was against that because it would cause undue harm to the organization that reassigned priests known to be offenders. This included an interview with an adult who had been a victim.
Then he talked about how Sensenbrenner wants to become the chair of the House committee on climate change if the Republicans take over, so he can expose the hoax that is climate change.
Keith finished up Wisconsin night by assigning the bronze Worst Person award to the Milwaukee parking checker who gave tickets to cars outside a funeral, including to the hearse.
The show repeats at 10 pm. and 3 am.

1. Sometimes, we wear our cheese in shame. |

I hardly recognized Ron Johnson. Talk about a makeover! I kept wondering if maybe they got the wrong person!
OK, I admit it. In the KOEB group, I posted "just for tonight, I'm from Minnesota." :hide:

I take it as a compliment that KO thinks bone-headedness and insanity from Wisconsin is so contrary to our sane, pragmatic, educated and progressive reputation that it's more newsworthy (and probably funnier) than from any other state.
Judging by how often he airs that crazy laundry from Wisconsin it must be true. B-)

We think Keith and Rachael are great...and they ARE ...but the Tea Party types will never see those segments. I'm not sure there is any way they would ever see it short of being tied to a chair and forced to watch it.
