New Vets for Peace groups in River Falls WI

Here in River Falls, WI, where I live, there is a weekly Veterans Support Group meeting on Tuesday evenings, starting at 6:30 PM.
It is held at the Earth Angels Coffee House, (after hours), located at 321 N.2nd Street in River Falls.

All Veterans of all eras are invited. Also, family members and interested parties are welcome. You need not be a combat Veteran. It is an open forum where Veterans and others can express anything they want to about any issue, this principle is based upon a Talking Circle. Returning Veterans are encouraged to attend. The facilitators are Combat Veterans from the American war in Vietnam.

This group has been up and running now for a couple of months. It is not crowded and it is housed in a safe friendly environment. I mention it as a reply to this e-mail as the main issue that comes up is PTSD stemming from war and information, based on personal and professional experiences, about coping mechanisms and places to go for further help.
