Its still above freezing in Madison- so we're getting snow for the last couple of hours and its sticking but its all very wet and messy. I got home half an hour ago, and it was not fun driving. But sounds like its worse north of us.

1. It's now changing to mixed snow and rain, mostly rain.

The wind off the lake is warm and it's been holding off the snow all afternoon and evening.

4. 9" of snow so far here in La Crosse with snow expected all night.

NW wind blowing at 23 mph with gusts up to 29. Tomorrow night and Monday night it is expected to be -13.

This is when you here from deniers: "So much for global warming". (They never mention this, though, when it is abnormally warm during the winter.)
