but recall cannot begin until he has been in office for one year, per Wisconsin constitution:
Article XIII, §12
Recall of elective officers. Section 12.
The qualified electors of the state, of any congressional, judicial or legislative district or of any county may petition for the recall of any incumbent elective officer after the first year of the term for which the incumbent was elected, by filing a petition with the filing officer with whom the nomination petition to the office in the primary is filed, demanding the recall of the incumbent.
Following sections set out the procedure.
Another option is impeachment, but that is handled like the impeachment of a president; the Assembly votes to impeach and the state Senate tries the case, with a two-thirds majority needed to convict (Wisconsin constitution, Article VII, sec. 1). As both sides of the legislature are currently Republican, this does not seem to be practical.
