1. I can believe that
I can't keep ahead of the drifts in my own driveway, I can't imagine what its like on Hwy 29.

I'm thinking Hwy 10 ...Stevens Point to Appleton/Oshkosh can't be much better...

got the 4-wheel drive explorer out to do my business around town..snow plows have been out..scraped the local streets down to ICE!!!

DAMMIT.

4. I was on US 10
from Appleton to Clark County. Slow, but goable. Portage County was poorly plowed. Wood County - very well done.

2. Sounds about right. Huge drifts here in the Appleton area.
I was going to go to Madtown today but won't risk the drive. Fortunately, the Winnebago Cty Dems are holding an event in Appleton:

3. Drove Abbotsford to Eau Claire this morning and it was pretty bad.
The plows were out and the lanes were open, but ice covered. Most of the county hwys were one lane with drifts, but we were out before the plows could get to them.
