Wausau Council approves letter to Walker on budget bill

"The Wausau City Council approved sending a letter and resolution to Gov. Scott Walker on Friday evening during a specially called meeting, advocating for changes to the governor’s budget repair bill.

More than 100 people packed the City Council chamber and overflowed into the building’s lobby, watching the meeting on closed circuit television and frequently applauding Council members who spoke against Walker’s plan. "
