Received a Call soliciting money for Scott Walker
Last night about 7:15 I got a call from a Madalyn or Madeline asking for donations for some sort of support for Walker. She asked for $75 dollars. Even after I took about 5 minutes or more of her call time to tell her what I thought of Walker, she then asked, "How about a donation of $35 dollars?"

Anyone getting calls like this?

2. My dad got a call. He's in West Bend. He was furious that Walker's asking for money.
He realized later that he wasn't sure if the money was for Walker somehow, or to fight the recall efforts. Either way, he was really pissed at the audacity.

3. I now think it was WMC
The Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce has a fundraising effort going to combat the unions.
If you look at their website you can find all kinds of sample letters, press releases, activism stuff, etc. enough to make you sick.

Next time I will try to be more deliberative. But if someone called you asking money to support Walker, you know the reaction you would get.

5. JUST SETTLE BACK
and have a nice, lonnnnnnnnngggggggg conversation all about Mr. Scott Walker. You can explain your finances, your wishes that you could support the governor if only he weren't representing everything you don't stand for... talk, talk, talk, talk...
