Hows voter Turnout in your area?
I am on the east side of Madison and I was #100 at 8am. Polls open at 7am, so that is absolutely fabulous! That's like a presidential election!

Canvassers on the east side over the weekend reported 74% of those planning to vore were going for Kloppenburg.

1. turnout
I vote at LaFollette High School (also east side for those outside of Madison), I was number 176 at 8:10. It is like a general election turnout.

3. I just returned and the turnout in Hartland is pretty high for an election like this.
I was # 380 at about 11:00.

9. You live in Hartland? I go through there when I go the "back road" way
to my my dad's in West Bend. I love that twisty-turny state road through there, find it a nice drive. But yeah, that area is really red!

23. 83, that's it. I started going that way when my mom was in the nursing home
in Hartford. A pleasant drive that took me right to the nursing home for a visit before going the rest of the way to West Bend. I don't do it at night, though. I never know where the next curve is!

Yeah, really pretty country.

4. Stoughton and I was #78 at 7:45. I've never seen a line there before,
but we were ten deep. People are hopefully there because the are pissed at the way things are rather than at the unions. But we'll see.

I've seen a total of one sign for Kloppenberg's challenger in Stoughton. One.

over at the JS Online comments.

They shine brighter than the yellow counters at Geo Webb at 2 AM. (Old Webb)

You can see the money of Koch and Rove at work! Assholes lie!

18. It's all they've got, nothing else, just fraud, lies, stories and lots of money to rig elections and
pay to get their own way. Hopefully, it will not work this time since our Unions are awake and know what our futures look like if we don't win this battle and eventually, this war.

I was 103 Just finished maybe five minutes ago. We're pretty red here, as well. Hopefully Madison, Milwaukee and other more enlightened places will pick up the slack.

15. OMG, this is great news, I don't want to count my snowmen, but this has me very excited. "Please"
as the Winter Warlock would say "Oh Please, let me have just a little magic" and all of a sudden everything lights up and JoAnne Kloppenburg takes her seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court having beaten Prosser the toy hating, children hating, woman hating, Democracy hating, Burger Meister Prosser.

20. Thom Hartman was just interviewing someone from Madison.
I did not catch his name, but he said they were predicting a turnout comparable to a presidential election. This would be a first.

27. I voted at about 10 am in Wauwatosa's 16th district
I was 230th voter. I think turn out here is pretty good, the vote total maybe running a bit ahead, but this neighborhood is mostly college graduates. People who are likely to vote early.

That one was Butler v. Gableman for Supreme Court and Scott Walker v. Lena Taylor for county exec. Roughly analogous to today's election.

33. Unbelieveable
talked to City Clerk around 5 o'clock...

SHE RAN OUT OF BALLOTS!!!!

She ordered enough for a 33% turnout and they exceeded that.....made manual ballots and tally sheets!

I heard predictions all last week putting it at around 50%.

Even in my little township, we had November-like turnout.

We'll find out in the next couple of hours if that bodes well. I remain cautiously optimistic.

37. Waukesha County
Republican stronghold; voting was light as far as when I was there around 3:30 p.m. I was only #71. It is not a large community, but still. One new thing there that I thought was good: drive-up voting for disabled or older people who have trouble getting out of their cars. You are to honk your horn and they will come out and give you a ballot.
