I'm sick and tired of the "third way" or "I'm independent" folks telling me that I've "bought into the false choice of red vs blue". There IS A DIFFERENCE and it is BLOODY WELL WORTH FIGHTING FOR!

If I had the time I'd check out census data and run it against the vote totals....I think average income has a lot to do with red vs blue and the votes will show it...maybe somebody can do it....

I'm proud of my home county...I'm proud of those good folks up in the Ashland, Washburn, Bayfield area....I don't know if we can overcome 660 votes but I'm still hopeful.

I'm surprised the absentees weren't counted first thing in the morning.

5. I've always been told that absentees were counted the day of

the election. If the Dane county absentees were not counted that would make a huge difference.

10. They do have to count the absentees on election day.

But what they have to do and what actually gets done and done accurately are different things.

I don't expect a recount to reveal big changes in vote totals unless a municipality totally botched things.
