I'm trying to think of a positive way to send a message to Wisconsin and I decided I'd just buy some good old Wisconsin Cheddar. BUT....I want to make sure it comes from good left-leaning, union loving democrat cheese makers. Can anyone recommend a good website, company or brand?

Of course, I wish the election was a landslide instead of a squeaker... but I can't think of a better wayt o say thanks to Wisconsin for the good fight they have been putting up.

23. It is full of win and when you order, especially if by phone, tell them why you
are calling to order.

And don't just limit this to cheese. If you need something you can find from WI and can do so, buy it from there.

I'm off to buy some cheeeeeeessse!

9. Irish Kerrygold Dubliner "combines the sharpness of mature cheddar, the nuttiness

Thanks, PeaceNikki. They have a great website. My shopping cart is not yet full.

5. In Dane County, which is blue, there is a wonderful
little unincorporated community called Paoli. They have several artisan shops, and a wonderful cheese shop. They have a catalog for Paoli cheese, too. You can order online or by phone if you can't get to Paoli WI. My kids get my husband a box of cheese from Paoli Cheese every Christmas. It is delivered to our house.

36. From any vendor...buy a Colby--it was developed in WI in 1874
Colby cheese
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Colby
Colby Cheese.jpg
Other names Colby Swiss Cheddar
Country of origin United States
Region, town Colby, Wisconsin
Source of milk Cows
Texture Semi-hard
Aging time None

Colby is a cow's milk cheese. It was originally called Colby Swiss Cheddar.<1>

History
A marker in Colby, Wisconsin notes the town's relationship to the cheese.

Joseph F. Steinwand in 1874 developed a new type of cheese at his father's cheese factory near Colby, Wisconsin. The cheese was named after the village,<2> which had been founded three years earlier.<3>

An 1898 issue of the "Colby Phonograph" noted that "A merchant in Phillips gives as one of the 13 reasons why people should trade with him, that he sells the genuine Steinwand Colby Cheese." After the turn of the century Wisconsin became known as one of the great cheese producing centers in the United State

41. cheese and beer
If you desire a truly blue collar lunch with products from a couple blue counties all you need is some fresh cheese curds from the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery (Pierce County--cheese curd capital of Wisconsin) and a bottle of New Glarus Spotted Cow/Honey Bock/ or Fat Squirrel (Green County.) Cheese from a co-op and beer from a supporter of single payer is an added bonus.
