Recall Road Trips!

Went on my first last weekend - it was good therapy after last week to go out and collect the sigs and feel like I accomplished something concrete.

Also - it was just plain fun meeting people and seeing what was going on in other parts of the state (in this case Alberta Darling's district). Because of all the sigs collected on election day, they hadnt caught up on their data entry so we were posted at a busy intersection near a super market. That has got to be the silver lining in all this - have met more good people in the last 2 months then the last 20 years -seriously!

Anyway -I want to encourage ya'll to do it at least once ... or more, as the spirit moves you. It's looking good but we've only got 3 more weeks left to collect the signatures - now's the time! They've got it pretty well organized and do a good orientation so I felt like it was time well spent.


Road Trip Schedule (from Madison to Cowles or Darling district):

When: Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday after April 5th

Where: Meet at Brittingham Park Parking Lot (On West Washington Ave between Park and Regent Streets) where carpools will be organized - if you don't have a car you can be pretty sure of getting a ride.

Meeting Time: 9:30AM

Return Time: 5:00PM – 6:30PM
