Prosser declared winner in Judge race
Wisconsin’s elections board on Monday certified judge David Prosser as the winner of the hotly contested race for the state Supreme Court, handing a victory to conservative activists who flocked to the race as a referendum on Gov. Scott Walker’s law restricting collective bargaining for public sector unions.

5. Me too.. She has five business days to decide...
Kloppenburg has until May 31 to challenge the results in court. Her campaign has said they are reviewing the results and determining what to do next. Prosser's campaign has said there is no basis for a challenge and it's time to move on.http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/joanne-kloppenburg/

2. Great spin on this
Prosser would have won by 30 points if anti-Walker voters hadn't flocked to Kloppenburg's defense.

4. So they say
The wisdom of Mark Twain: One cannot have everything the way he would like it. A man has no business to be depressed by a disappointment, anyway; he ought to make up his mind to get even.

6. According to one source
"...there is a public records request pending from an outside advocacy group that seeks every scrap of data, from memory cards to every absentee ballot application envelope – statewide..."

I have no idea who filed the request -- or who would have access to the public records made available if the request is granted -- but one can only hope that the flood of additional data
*would* be helpful to those people who've been following the recount process, and taking note of the assorted anomalies. The Kloppenburg campaign among them, to be able to know if there's
a basis for filing an appeal.
