The Rockford Sons of Liberty
When the radical right talk about "limited government" what they REALLY mean is limiting the people's participation in the process.

If you've finally said to yourself, "enough is enough," then you need to investigate climbing aboard and joining the Rockford Sons of Liberty.

Don't live in Northwestern Illinois? It doesn't matter - we've got members from all across the midwest.

We don't want your money - we want your ANGER.

We wave the flag, recite the Pledge and sometimes even sing "America, the Beautiful".

We even, on occasion, will say rude things.

What, then, is the difference between us and the Tea Party?

We're not a bunch of right-wing, conservative, xenophobic and racist, dumb-asses. And we're not waiting for society to change - we ARE the change.

The "Sons of Liberty" were a political group made up of American patriots formed to protect the rights of the colonists from the usurpations by the British government after 1766. They are best known for throwing the King's corporate East Indian Company tea into Boston Harbor.

Are you tired of corporate Tea, and ready to throw it overboard?

3. ah, "sons of confederacy", my bad
its an interesting approach, but, without the corporate sponsorship, media traction will be difficult.

4. Word of Mouth...
Simple word of mouth seems to have been kind to us, so far.

We've been on facebook since mid-April and we have 75 members ready, willing, and able, to confront the Tea People, if they choose to pop out in public.

The goal is to get this thing nationwide, and have Americans confront these hooligans.

Wherever the Tea People are, that's where we'll be, protesting their stupidity and racism.
