Fred Clark's slip
Do you think Clark's verbal slip will do serious harm to him? In case you don't know he was recorded on a phone call about his candidacy as saying. "I'd like to call her back and tell her I'd like to slap her up." The woman he called had said, "That's a crime," when he said he was running against Luther Olsen. What's the fallout?

1. Ugh, I heard this the other day.
I'm sure they'll use the audio for commercials.

:(

2. Well, he shouldn't have said it.
I had a tow truck driver leave me a message on my voice mail - he couldn't find me. He thought the recording was over and he was frustrated so he called me a f'ing bitch. Well, I called his employer and played it back to them and I was plenty pissed. The employer was all over themselves apologizing to me for it...

An elected official should be a lot more careful than a tow truck driver about what he says on voice mail and Clark certainly wasn't. It would really make me think twice about voting for him.

3. Think twice - except when the alternative is Luther Olsen.
No effing way I'd vote for Olsen no matter what kind of potty mouth Clark has.

4. Its not my district.
But if I were in that district and I were not enthusiastic about the Democratic rep to begin with, this might make me stay home.
