1. Thank U! WIN OR LOSE - the work goes on - these commentaries that say

this is a test re: whether Walker faces recall have it dead wrong. He faces recall no matter what!

When I was collecting petition sigs, it seemed for every one I got there was at least one other person who didnt want to sign, liked their senator or whatever, but said "come back when its time to take out Walker." Seemed to be a significant number of those. Anyone else have that experience?

4. Walker facing a recall is probably even more likely now.

So long as his machine keeps cranking out ALEC and Koch bills, the people of the state will have a reason to kick his ass.

That he lost two solidly republicon state senators from gerrymandered districts means he's lost a lot of statewide support - not just in those two test districts but probably in many more.

IIRC, the Dems who lost last night still got more vote than the Dems who challenged these idiots in 2008 - their last election. And that has to have them all shitting their BVD's this morning.

8. When I drive through Wauwatosa I get hope seeing those recall walker signs in his neighborhood...

I just cannot imagine what this State will look like if he stays for a whole term...

9. I've been to some Progressive and WisDems meetings and I am hearing talk

... talk about not starting Walker's recall till May of next year! Anything like that from your area?

10. There's a good reason for that.

The last thing we want is for Walker's recall election to be on the ballot in April with all those Republican Presidential Primary candidates.

If we wait until good weather to start collecting the signature, then we get our own ballot in the summer - not the one in April that will bring in more Republicans than any other.

Have you heard of any meetings with the various groups that might have been seeking a consensus on when to start Herr Walker’s Recall? I would hate to see failure if each group is running amuck on this starting date.

12. I know very little "specifically" about the groups involved.

I've only heard that meetings are taking place. Not when, where or who's involved, etc.
