White supremacists to protest in West Allis
on Sept 3rd...supposedly in response to the violence at Wisconsin State Fair.

Hatewatch posted this about them...

http://www.splcenter.org/blog/

"The neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement has announced that it will hold a rally in West Allis, Wis., in response to a series of recent attacks at the Wisconsin State Fair. Authorities have noted that many of the attackers have been black while many of the victims have been white. Police are still investigating whether the attacks were racially motivated. Many counter-protests are being planned in the aftermath of the NSM announcement."

Anyone know who they are and if this is home grown or out of state?

22. The woman organizing it is from New Berlin
She will be on the Ben Merens program tomorrow on Wisconsin Public Radio (Thursday, 4 pm), along with a representative of the NAACP. She also did an interview with the Shepard Express and is quoted in the current issue. Oh, and she is planning to run for the common council in New Berlin. She wears her swastika around town sometimes.

27. I know what you mean, in general
I do like Kathleen Dunn, though. I mentioned the program yesterday because it would be a chance to hear this person and maybe get some insight into why they do what they do. (I didn't get around to listening anyway.)

Warning from West Allis Police as white supremacy group plans rally

By Annie Scholz

CREATED Aug. 25, 2011 - UPDATED: Aug. 26, 2011

WEST ALLIS - A white supremacy group is planning a protest in response to the State Fair mob attack, and police are issuing an unusual alert.

Maureen Metzer owns a dance studio a block away from West Allis City Hall. She heard about the rally scheduled for Labor Day weekend and isn't taking any chances. "I am concerned. We actually did decide that we will not be open that day."

It's advice she and other business owners in the area got from the Police Chief in a letter recommending people "lock their doors and close during the time of this activity." Maureen is grateful for the warning. "They told me they've never experienced anything like this before, and I guess better safe than sorry."

TODAY'S TMJ4 went to the police department, but nobody would talk on camera. A captain did say they delivered the letter as a precaution, and while a loss of business isn't what they want, safety trumps losing a few sales.

Several people in town aren't happy it's come to this.

For Robert Bower, "I just don't like it one bit."

According to James Wallace, "It's the skin heads, or it's the Crips or the Bloods. They exist and they're for real."

The rally is scheduled for September 3rd, at 2:00 p.m.

Police say they will have a heavy presence in the area, and some areas around City Hall will likely be blocked off.

4. Maybe Detroit based 'Hollywood Nazis"
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=post&forum=186&topic_id=35133&mesg_id=35133

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups and domestic terrorists nationally, the Detroit-based National Socialist Movement "is one of the largest and most prominent neo-Nazi groups in the United States."

"Schoep's group is known for the crudeness of its propaganda, the violence it works hard to support, and the faux SS outfits that have caused many other neo-Nazis to deride NSM members as 'Hollywood Nazis,' " the law center's website says.

5. Milwaukee coalition builds anti-Nazi protest for Sept. 3
Milwaukee coalition builds anti-Nazi protest for Sept. 3

By Bryan G. Pfeifer
Milwaukee, Wis.
Published Aug 24, 2011 1:58 PM

A progressive coalition is building in metro Milwaukee and beyond to counterprotest a planned Nazi rally set for Sept. 3 in West Allis, a working-class suburb just west of Milwaukee. A planning meeting on Aug. 21 included a broad range of labor, community and student individuals and organizations to report on counterprotest activities and to discuss further organizing efforts.

Larry Hales, a national leader of the Bail Out the People Movement from New Jersey, said at that meeting: “The Nazis may still yet be a fringe element on the right but are no less dangerous for it. Just as the ultraright Tea Party was able to attract some white workers on the basis of chauvinism, so could the Nazis. The threat of fascism, whether Nazi or Nazi lite, is a real threat.

“This is especially true,” Hales continued, “in the wake of a tremendous uprising in Wisconsin that moderate political forces are attempting to tamp down amid the severity of the capitalist crisis.” Hales was in Wisconsin from Aug. 14 to 21 supporting the people’s struggle and organizing to directly confront the Nazis.

http://www.workers.org/2011/us/milwaukee_0901/

I shall be there to counter protest these Nazis and I will do my part to make speechless these hate mongers.

8. You have only to look at the history of your organization
to find the answer to your question.

Anti-white discrimination? Come to think of it, I've never seen a company that wasn't overloaded with white males beyond their actual representation in the population. Maybe we all should start reporting that to the EEOC.

Other groups like Latinos and gays can have pridefests without those being considered hateful in nature because if you attend them you will see that they are not hateful. Being gay is not about putting down heterosexuals. Being Latino is not about putting down other nationalities.

In my mind its up to the police and the courts to determine whether a particular attack is racially motivated and to apply the appropriate punishment. They are the ones with all the facts. For racially defined citizen groups to do this just inflames things.

Edited on Wed Aug-31-11 10:46 AM by Yon_Yonson
I feel it’s a protest against FASCISM and I need not remind anybody about what has been happening not only in Wisconsin but across America. Take a look at these 14 POINTS OF FASCISM and draw your own conclusion.

12. CALL TO ACTION ~ here is the bus information from Madison to W. Allis
Edited on Wed Aug-31-11 08:09 AM by Yon_Yonson
Neo-Nazis are planning a rally in West Allis on Sept. 3, hoping to capitalize on a racially charged incident that took place recently at the Wisconsin State Fair. In response, the people of West Allis and Milwaukee are organizing a massive counter-rally to reject the Nazi message of racism and hate. Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice has arranged for buses from Madison to West Allis. Bus fare is $15, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Call 608-250-9240 to reserve your seat.

http://wnpj.org/

Come on folks let’s go to the defense of West Allis because we are ALL Wisconsinites and need no more messages of hate and division. We have had divide & conquer messages for 9 months From NEOCON THUGS so lets field a 100,000 counter protestor against these NAZI SLUGS. Let’s pretend that Herr Walker is their commander GUY!

14. It is a discussion I can appreciate ....
Then again I have roots in the Danish Resistance of WWII through my aunt who was accociated with Holgre Danske and she reminded me of pastor Martin Niemöller.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

21. Rollins. (I think it was Rollins) brought up an interesting point once
RE: neo-nazi rally. He said something to the effect of: let them do their thing, and instead of shouting them down, listen. Absorb what they're spewing. Then use what they say, counter-point them and destroy them with their own shit.

24. I'm going.
I remember the last time those sorry excuses for human beings
came crawling out.

It was winter time. Can't remember the year, but it took place
in front of the Federal Building (the Castle) at the east end
of Wisconsin Ave., in downtown Milwaukee.

Mr. James Cameron, the man who founded the Black Holocaust
Museum (after having survived a lynching attempt as a kid in
the Jim Crow south), was there.

http://www.workers.org/2006/us/cameron-0629/

It was really a powerful learning experience. Just one hell of
a contrast between that man's gentle patience, wisdom and
forgiveness, and all those arrogant, ignorant yahoos.

Nothing to be on the fence about, but having to put yourself
in the same space as the New Berlin Storm Troopers probably
isn't for everybody.

I would say 2000+ plus anti nazi protetors and some say 70 of those hate mongers! Got soaking wet but didn't melt and when's the next one? Enough said! :hippie:

WEST ALLIS - More than 130 law enforcement officers from seven different agencies saturated the area around West Allis City Hall Saturday – all an effort to keep the peace during a neo-Nazi rally in response to the State Fair mob attacks.

“They (officers) were basically everywhere,” said Deputy Chief Charles Padgett with West Allis Police Department.
Padgett said federal agencies also aided. The FBI helped local law enforcement develop a strategy.
“They were advisory and they were helping us as to getting information to the group as far as past history with the group so we knew what to expect.”
About 75 members and supporters of the National Social Movement rallied outside the West Allis City Hall. Thousands counter-protested their message from the streets. Temporary metal fencing, backed up by a fence of officers in riot gear, separated the two.
Officers were positioned in different areas in the streets, on top of buildings, in the area with the National Social Movement members and within city hall.
Milwaukee’s mounted patrol and M.I.R.T. team were on hand along with West Allis police, Greenfield police, Milwaukee County Sheriff, State Fair Police, Wauwatosa Police and the State Patrol.

Padgett said in all, five people were arrested three people for possession of weapons, two others for disorderly conduct.

They listen to the conservanazi propaganda all day at work. I guess they had enough propaganda in their head. Usually, Wisconsin conservanazis have no balls to show their faces in public against the minorities they hate. At least, the ones I knew that I worked with.
