It looks like the plan for converting our highways to toll roads has been put in motion

A report put out by right wing Wisconsin Policy Research Institute think tank, authored by Robert W. Poole, Jr of the right wing Reason Foundation, lays out a plan for charging tolls to drive on 743 miles of our Wisconsin highways. Interestingly, David H. Koch is a trustee with the Reason Foundation. Both Reason and the WPRI are all about promoting privatization and other lockstep right wing corporatist policy.

It would not go over well. I hate paying for any toll road I have been on.

I will personally avoid them and take more back road. We can also expect more accidents at the toll sites.

Just another sneaky for the Repukes to raise taxes on the working class. The Richie Riches don't use the roads as they travel by private jet.

5. Actually it is a way to skim some profits off the top

at the public's expense in more than one way (public money built roads besides the daily toll/tax). Someone will get big kickbacks.
