Madison - The official in Gov. Scott Walker's administration whose house was raided by the FBI last month is back in her state job after an extended medical leave.
Cindy Archer had been the deputy administration secretary under Walker but abruptly quit on Friday, Aug. 19. She shifted into a job as legislative liaison at the Department of Children and Families the following Monday, Aug. 22, but began taking medical leave that day.
Archer's home was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Sept. 14 as part of a secret investigation of current and former aides to Walker going back to the time he was Milwaukee County executive. Archer was Walker's top aide at the county.
Archer reported to her job at the Department of Children and Families for the first time on Monday, eight weeks after her medical leave began, according to department spokeswoman Sara Buschman.
