Personhood USA Strikes Out in Mississippi – Targets Wisconsin
You could give them credit for persistence, but then the Black Death was persistent too. What makes Personhood USA and their crusade so bad is that it’s not spread by fleas but by humans. There is malice behind Personhood USA’s war on the American people; the Black Death’s Yersinia pestiswas simply a mindless bacterium. The one thing the two do have in common is that they spread and that they’re difficult to get rid of.

Case in point: Having suffered a dramatic reverse in conservative Mississippi, Personhood USA has set its sites on the beleaguered people of Wisconsin. OneNewsNow’s headline is ” Personhood needed to fix ‘flaw’ in The Badger State.”

3. roman catholics are WI's biggest religious group
The conservatives just want to keep shoving shit down our throats.

I can't imagine this will sit well with Wisconsin women in particular and voters in general.

6. But the Catholic Church in MS took a neutral stance
I expect the same in WI. As it was worded in MS, it was a bit too much. Though I do expect Morlino from Madison to break from the bishops group to probably support it.

2. Under this amendment
"the terms “people” and “person” shall apply to every human being at any stage of development"

I think death is a stage of development, it certainly is a natural process of life.

So the term 'person' must than apply to the dead as well as the non-dead.

It will be an interesting debate.

Not gonna go far in Wisconsin though. We're way too smart for that now.

7. This would give considerable assistance to the Democrats get out the vote push
Sure hope Andre Jacque (pronounced Jake, great picture of him on his website)and the "right-to-life" frauds spend lots of time and money on this. The issue should make it much easier to convince apolitical/non-politically active women to get out to the polls. Also will mean the end of Mr. Jacque's career in the legislature, and probably a few of the other bottom of the septic tank scum.
