Where do they find these women for the Walker commercials?
The new one is just infuriating. The recall "feels a little like sour grapes. Scott Walker said he was going to do what's right for Wisconsin and he did. He did."

We're just a bunch of sore losers. Walker never lied or anything. :sarcasm:

1. Waukesha and/or Ozaukee County.
OK, to be fair, there are a lot of red places here. We're deeply divided and his supporters are rabid and totally mis/uninformed.

and give tax breaks to the rich in the campaign he would have lost in a landslide.

He lied his ass off to get elected.

3. Here in La Crosse I've seen the ads up to 10 times a night.
All Walker commercials and none to support a recall. I sure wish we had a candidate and as long as I am wishing I may as well wish big, huge, and wish that candidate would be Russ Feingold.

4. They air quite a bit in Milwaukee market, too. They should serve as a constant reminder that we have

a very tough battle. It's easy to be invigorated and optimistic (and for some, complacent and I speak not of ANY WI DUers when I say that) when you're surrounded by people who are reasonable and have common sense. Those of us in red areas are hopeful but know that his supporters are insanely rabid in their unreasonable support of him and his totally insane policies. :puke:

These people are well-funded and they are as adamant in their support of him as we are in our opposition. You're right, we need a strong candidate and we also need to stay as fired up ALL THE WAY THROUGH a recall election. As you often remind us, we MUST do a better job of getting people to the polls. Especially special elections.

5. heres the way i see it
The recall election is goiing to happen . We WILL get enough signatures for thst. But until that happens, no one is going to announce they're running. I think the dem party here wants a solidified front for that. THEN the commercials start. We don't have the deep pockets they do. B y then their commercials willbe weariing thin...

6. I agree with you except for the idea that their ads will wane.
I think they'll get even more frequent and more awful the closer to election day.

Deep deep pockets.

some advantage to being the financial underdog and not pouring such obscene amts of $$$ into ads.

I say that fully cognizant of the power of advertising - obviously if it didnt work they wouldnt be doing it. Just saying that in the advertising our side does, it could be spun into an advantage - the early Feingold campaign advertising was successful portraying this grassroots campaign being run out of his Middleton garage. A lot of people I talked to last summer including many on "our side," were totally FED UP with all ads, theirs and ours.

13. One thing about CRT TVs
I could pitch a foam rubber brick at the TV.

I don't want to try that with the flat panel.

Shes the doe eyed type Republican men like. Looks nice in a cocktail dress, has a big house in the suburbs for hosting fundraisers, doesn't make waves.

They need to be blond, pretty, blue eyed, next door girl type and it’s best that their mouth piece need not be connected to their brain.

22. And now there's "Jeff", the teacher who's happy he still has a job...
because Walker could have shut down the schools altogether and let the children educate themselves. It would have saved the State a whole lot of money.
