http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/134608153.htmlMadison -- Democrats plan to ask to intervene Tuesday in a lawsuit before the state Supreme Court over what legislative maps should be used in recall elections.
A group of Republicans earlier this month asked the Supreme Court to appoint a panel of circuit court judges to hear its arguments that any recall elections should be held using new legislative maps. Those new maps, approved in August, favor Republicans.
The suit came a week after recall drives were launched against four Republican state senators. The committees behind three of those recall efforts will file a motion to intervene in the case on Tuesday, according to the state Democratic Party.
