brief personal update from Recall Walker HQ in Madison...
...where I did data back-up in the "boiler room" today--scanned over 700 petitions/5000 signatures, including some from Pewaukee, Waukesha, Brookfield, and even Delavan--Walker's own H.S. hometown! Mid-afternoon, Senate Minority Leader Miller stopped by to thank the troops. A long, but good day!

3. Wednesday update
Processed petitions today from Village of Maple Bluff, the wealthy real estate enclave where the Governor's Mansion is located. His old Wauwatosa neighbors hosted signing parties to kick off the recall, and now it seems some of Walker's new neighbors don't much like him, either!

6. Nice. You know maybe if he invited them over for a BBQ and mowed his lawn once in awhile
they would have a better feeling about him. Sounds like $hit just kind of follows him. Thanks for volunteering!

4. Is data going into a database - to aid in verifying and weeding out duplicates? Apparently the
other side is all in a tizzy about some people signing the petitions multiple times and advice to do so being on the United Wisconsin webpage. Guess I'm kind of concerned too - if signing numerous times is a widespread practice, then we're going to have a tough time being sure we have enough sigs. I mean, when they say we have 300,000, how many do we really have???

However if the dupes are easily eliminated then no problem.

Ive been going out during lunch break - generally get a page of sigs in 45 minutes!

5. unsure about scans being used to find duplicates...
...right now, AFAIK, scanning is just being done as data back-up quality control "insurance," for whatever future purpose or need might arise.
