This took some doing, the official Kerry campaign is now backing
us 100% - they resisted our low $50/person donation; we wanted this
to bring together *all* Kerry supporters- not just a Fund-Raiser,
but a networking opportunity. Please jump in and help
organize or support this anyway you can - there is not much time left.

If you have ideas for additional speakers, pls let us know.
The event needs $100 and $250 "sponsors"; your name to appear in
program and recognition at podium.

Milwaukee John Kerry Fund-Raiser details:

-Sunday, July 18th 5-10pm. (Last time to donate before Kerry accepts nomination)

-Lakefront Brewery, Commerce Street, Milwaukee

-Event presented by Vets for Kerry and other Kerry organizations

-Two donors have generously put up $500 security deposit,
(which will later be donated to campaign)

-Event needs $100 and $250 "sponsors" of party; their name to appear in
program and recognition at podium. To be an event sponsor call

-Need individual donors for event who haven't maxed out their
contribution limit of $2,000

-Entertainment by Steve Cohen Blues Band and the Lovelies

-Tickets: Suggested donation $50 each or $75/couple. Includes food,

-Event will be advertised in Shepherd Express, Riverwest Currents,
web sites, and other venues

-Signs, buttons, lawn signs and volunteer sign up sheets available at event

-Speakers: Jim Wassar, Marvin Pratt (new Milwaukee Kerry Campaign
Coordinator), and others yet to be determined
