Kinsman to challenge Huebsch

By REID MAGNEY / La Crosse Tribune

.
The next election is still one year, five months and one day away, but state Rep. Mike Huebsch, R-West Salem, already has an opponent.

Kinsman knows a little something about momentum. He drives a locomotive for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

And he knows something about politics. When he's not on the rails, he's in Madison, lobbying the Legislature on behalf of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. He's state chairman of the union's legislative board.

"Jim and I have run into each other a few times at hearings," Huebsch said Monday. "It's clear we don't agree on much."

This is a good start....I agree with both candidates for State Chair when they say that no Republican office holder should go unchallenged.....

The article also says the Dem who ran against Huebsch last time hasn't decided if she'll run again also....

1. Does Huebsch have car dealerships by chance?
I remember living in Prairie Du Chein in '89-90 and having a Huebsch Ford dealership a block behind my house.

Wonder if it's the same guy's dealerships.
