This time over the Ronald Reagan highway bill that Doyle sponsored.
First, here's the link:

Majority Republicans in the state Assembly decided not to challenge Gov. Jim Doyle's veto of a bill renaming part of U.S. 14 in honor of former President Ronald Reagan. But that didn't prevent lawmakers, who praised Reagan's statesmanship, from engaging in some rather unstatesmanlike finger-pointing on Thursday.
Gard said "there are probably days when Gov. Doyle and I really wish we could find a dark alley" to sort out their differences, but he urged Doyle to rise above those purely political impulses.Notice how cleverly Gard attributed the "dark alley" comment to Doyle who, of course has said NO SUCH THING, and then "urged Doyle to rise above....impulses".
We've gotta defeat this sicko!!!!!
