WBAY (GB) - White House firmly behind Rove over comments on liberals....
From WBAY Channel 2 in Green Bay. I just found this... figures but it's interesting anyways to see that those jerks refuse to apologize for anything.

White House firmly behind Rove over comments on liberals and terrorism

WHITE HOUSE - Democrats may not like Karl Rove's speech this week suggesting liberals have been soft on terrorism. But a White House official says the Bush administration feels the presidential adviser had it right.

1. Of course the WH is behind Rove's comments -
they are taking media attention away from coverage of Downing Street Documents and UN Press Releases about torture and hearings about the $8 billion+ dollars stolen from Iraq reconstruction funds.

KKKarl's great!

2. Was it a gut feeling?
Which official? Referring to whom? (presidential advisor) Obviously they're implying it's Rove but they won't actually say it. All in all a very weak endorsement if you can even call it that.

4. Dems never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
Rove's comments on 911 and Liberals was irrelevant. This is from a Rove speech reported in the NYT.
"Has there ever been a
more revealing moment this year?" Mr. Rove asked. "Let me just put this in fairly simple terms: Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals."

Liberals like Sen Durbin are motivated to endanger our troops? That is as close to calling a US Senator a traitor as it gets. And the Dems have let him off the hook! Amazing!

5. That's the biggest issue here.
Is it too much to hope that some reporter will ask about that?

Actually, I'm glad Muslims hear that not all Americans agree with torture.
