(Madison, WI) … In response to DNC Chairman Howard Dean’s scheduled appearance at the Orpheum Theater in Madison tomorrow, July 13 for a Democratic Party of Wisconsin fundraiser, Republicans will rally with a show of their own.

The counter event will be held from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the State Bar and Grill, 118 State Street. Conservative talk show personality Vicki McKenna from WIBA NewsTalk 1310 will be broadcasting live. The show will include a Howard Dean Scream Contest, Howard Dean trivia, and interviews with top officials in the GOP. There will be prizes and giveaways.

“This will be a great opportunity to energize our base and show Dean and the Democrats that we won’t stand for his out-of-line attacks on the integrity and character of our party,” said Rick Graber, chairman of The Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Dean’s comments are so egregious it’s comical. How fitting that his event is being held at a theater.”
